Mercedes CEO talks UAW in employee meeting

Michael Gobel, the CEO of Mercedes-Benz’s plant in Vance, told employees at a meeting he doesn’t believe the United Auto Workers union would help the plant be better, according to a report from Bloomberg. Birmingham receives grant for urban trail

The city of Birmingham has received a $21.5 million grant to construct a Birmingham urban trail and a multimodal corridor. The grant was given by the U.S. Department of Transportation to support the “Birmingham Civil Rights Crossroads: Reconnecting Historic Neighborhoods Through Active Mobility” project. – Bham Now
