The team behind Tuscaloosa’s Transformation Partners has been named Alabama’s Small Business Persons of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Shanna Ullmann, Timothy Ullmann and Robert Prescott will be honored along with winners from other states at an event April 28-29 in New York. The National Small Business Person of the Year will be announced then.
Selma’s The Coffee Shoppe will also be honored at the New York event, as winner of the Phoenix Award for Small Business Disaster Recovery.

The Coffee Shoppe serves specialty coffees, sandwiches and pastries.
