Wells Fargo has made equity investments in six Black-owned banks, including Mobile’s Commonwealth National Bank, as part of a $50 million pledge to support minority-focused lenders. Wells Fargo didn’t say how much they invested in the banks, which also included institutions in California, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. – Alabama NewsCenter
