Wells Fargo has made equity investments in six Black-owned banks, including Mobile’s Commonwealth National Bank, as part of a $50 million pledge to support minority-focused lenders. Wells Fargo didn’t say how much they invested in the banks, which also included institutions in California, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. – Alabama NewsCenter

Two Mountain Brook ZIP codes – 35223 and 35213 – are 1st and 2nd on list of wealthiest ZIP codes in 2020. Rounding out the top five are 35763 (Owens Crossroads), 35649 (Mooresville) and 36064 (Pike Road). The list is ranked by median household income.  –

Mercedes helping with vaccine efforts in Alabama
