Entrepreneur Rachel Lane has been named executive director of BIO Alabama, an advocate for Alabama’s bioscience economy, including researchers and business leaders. $87 million Coastal Growers project holds groundbreaking
Gov. Kay Ivey will attend Wednesday’s groundbreaking for an $87 million peanut shelling facility in Atmore. The Coastal Growers facility will cover more than 60 acres at the Atmore Industrial Park and will eventually employ 150 people.  – The Atmore Advance

Nashville company buys Huntsville’s Reed Contracting Services
