Dana Taylor is the new CEO of Birmingham’s Jack’s Family Restaurants.
Todd Bartmess, CEO since 2015, will transition to executive chairman of the board, effective immediately. Taylor was previously president and COO of the fast-food chain.
“Leading Jack’s has been the honor of my career, and I could not be prouder of what this team has achieved together,” Bartmess said in a statement. “We’ve grown our footprint, strengthened our brand and developed extraordinary leaders at every level. Dana is an exceptional partner who understands both the heart and the ambition of Jack’s. She brings a proven record of building strong teams, delivering results and caring deeply about the people and culture of this Southern company.”
During Bartmess’ tenure, Jack’s grew from 125 restaurants to almost 300 locations, with sales growing from about $230 million to $600 million.
“Jack’s is a remarkable brand with a passionate team and a bright future,” Taylor said. “Todd’s leadership has laid an incredible foundation, and I am honored to carry our mission forward.”
