Tanger Outlets Foley, in Baldwin County, is undergoing a renovation, including modernizing exteriors, adding green space and expanding food and beverage offerings.
“Our goal is to serve as more than a shopping center — we’re creating an inviting place for our community to come together to make memories, share experiences and enjoy even better shopping, food and fun,” said Debra Brown, marketing director of Tanger Outlets Foley.
A new green space in the middle of the 555,000-square-foot, open-air center will include a shaded pavilion and enhanced splash pad. Along the breezeways, shoppers will notice expanded food and beverage options, along with lounge areas and seating for outdoor dining.
Tanger Outlets Foley is home to more than 100 outlet stores and restaurants.
“The renovation of Tanger Outlets Foley is an exciting announcement,” said Foley Mayor Ralph Hellmich. “It will keep Tanger established as the ultimate destination in our area to visit and shop.”
Upgrades also will be made to the exterior, with new signage, updated entrances and refreshed paint. Construction is beginning this month and will be phased in, with completion expected in fall 2027. Visitors to the center will be able to shop during the construction phase.
