Spring Hill College Announces New Center for Online Learning

Focus to be employment-friendly certificate programs

Spring Hill College this week announced its Center for Online Learning, a new division of the college, created to provide on-demand certificate programs, as well as degree-completions for online adult learners.

The center will launch with a professional certificates focus, providing an assortment of specialized learning and skills desired by industry. Content is delivered through a variety of methods including video, interactive exercises, learning assessments and simulation technology.

“We wanted to offer courses for the working professional, as well as industry certificates for those who want to enhance their job performance or marketability in their field. Professional Certificates give recognition of competency, commitment to the profession and can help with job advancement,” says Center for Online Learning Director Geri Genovese.

“It is important for Spring Hill to continue to provide innovative online offerings to our alumni, working adults and our community that build upon the college’s existing historical success.”
