Silver Ships Inc. has been named the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year.
The aluminum shipbuilder based in Theodore was chosen from three finalists.

In 2021, Silver Ships has seen a record number of vessels in production and has won multiple bids, including a recent $8.2 million contract from the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard.
