Birmingham-based Sanders Capital Partners has acquired a 70,000-square-foot hangar at Enterprise Municipal Airport, investing $9.2 million.
The hangar “is home to Arista Aviation, a military and civilian contractor that maintains and refurbishes a variety of Bell and Sikorsky helicopters,” Sanders says in announcing the building acquisition.
“Arista is a highly competitive provider of critical services to our country’s armed forces and vital civilian users,” says Jackson Stewart, executive vice president and general counsel for Sanders Capital Partners. “Their proximity to Fort Rucker, the primary flight training facility for U.S. Army Aviators, is an obvious benefit to Arista and to Sanders Capital Partners.”
Stewart adds, “Arista’s deep bench of talent and offerings of primary and ancillary services have helped establish them as a sought-out contractor to domestic and international clients. We are pleased to work with their team and be associated with their missions that include, among others, supporting our armed forces and firefighting activities throughout the world.”
Sanders Capital Partners acquires and develops properties throughout the Southeast, Midwest and Southwest. In addition to its airport properties, the firm specializes in retail centers, medical properties and light industrial sites.
