RxBenefits grows employee roster, leadership team

Recently appointed to the RxBenefits leadership team are, from left, Kori Orsinger, Jack Tew and Elizabeth Ferguson.

RxBenefits has added almost 80 employees in 2021, more than half of them based in the company’s Birmingham headquarters.

In addition to those personnel additions, bringing the company’s number of employees past 600, three people have been added to the leadership team.

RxBenefits is the employee benefits industry’s first and only technology-enabled pharmacy benefits optimizer, according to the company.

  • Kori Orsinger – Vice President of Operations. Orsinger brings 13 years of operational leadership and business development experience to RxBenefits. In her role, Orsinger leads a team of more than 200 individuals in delivering operational success for internal and external partners and is responsible for various aspects of customer care, pharmacy benefit manager relations, data integration and facility management. Orsinger comes to RxBenefits from Businessolver, a benefits administration software company, where she was responsible for operational success in several pertinent areas of the business. During her tenure, the company grew by 557%, adding new and expanding existing locations across the country under her leadership and increasing headcount to more than 1,000 employees.
  • Jack Tew – Vice President of Business Development. Tew joined the RxBenefits team in 2014 as a business development executive. In 2016 he was elevated to a director level role and was recently promoted to vice president of business development. During his time with RxBenefits, Tew has been instrumental in leading the company’s growth in target markets. With over 20 years of experience in the employee benefits consulting arena, Tew has deep pharmacy expertise and oversees the strategic relationship management activities of RxBenefits’ diverse business development team with both benefit consultants and their employer clients.
  • Elizabeth Ferguson – Vice President, Commercial Excellence. Ferguson joins RxBenefits with over 15 years of experience in sales operations, sales management and leadership strategy and development within the health technology industry. In her role at RxBenefits, Ferguson leads the company’s go-to-market strategy from creation through execution including enablement, reporting and analytics. Prior to joining RxBenefits, Ferguson led sales operations at Wolters Kluwer-Health Language, a global provider of clinical technology and evidence-based solutions and managed a team of sales operations leaders across six business units at IBM.
