Ryan Hankins moved from running a faith-based nonprofit to a statewide organization that researches and analyzes topics to give state and local leaders information when making decisions.
He does that as executive director of the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama, or PARCA.
Hankins has been with PARCA for seven years and overseen a number of research projects, the latest being a look at the financial feasibility of expanding Medicaid in Alabama.
