VC3, an IT service provider based in Columbia, South Carolina, has acquired Pelham-based ThinkGard, a cybersecurity and disaster recovery provider to local governments. – VC3

The Southwestern Athletic Conference announced that General Motors is its exclusive automotive sponsor through 2024. Brasfield & Gorrie breaks ground on Mississippi school

Birmingham-based Brasfield & Gorrie’s Jackson, Mississippi, office is managing construction of a new facility for Magnolia Speech School. UAB ranked 147^th, and three other Alabama colleges were in the top 1,000, on a list of best universities in the world, according to U.S. News & World Report.
