Jodi Parnell, a 25-year veteran of O’Neal Steel, has been named president and CEO of the Birmingham-based company.
Parnell joined O’Neal Steel in 1999 and has a strong foundation in purchasing and supply chain management, the company says. In 2014, she became vice president of Supply Chain Management, and she most recently has been chief operating officer of the company.
“Jodi’s leadership, strategic mindset, and dedication to O’Neal Steel’s values make her the ideal choice to lead us into our next chapter,” said Stephen Armstrong, executive vice president, O’Neal Industries. “We look forward to her continuing to strengthen and grow the 104-plus years’ legacy of success that defines our organization.”
