Nine startups have been selected for the gener8tor-powered Bronze Valley Investment Accelerator and the Prosper HealthTech Accelerator in Birmingham.
Five of the nine startups make up the spring 2025 cohort at Bronze Valley. They were chosen out of more than 450 applications. The participants will each receive a $100,000 investment and participate in a 12-week intensive program designed to accelerate growth, access capital and connect them with Birmingham’s entrepreneurial system.
Those participating in Bronze Valley are Aleoop, BalanceAI, Feedcoyote, NYAD and Transition. Aleoop is a revenue intelligence platform. BalanceAI optimizes energy use in multi-family housing. Feedcoyote is a global freelance collaboration platform. NYAD is an AI platform automating troubleshooting in industrial wastewater treatment. Transition automates student enrollment, support and job placement for trade and career schools.
“From climate tech to AI-driven education, this cohort brings market-ready solutions and impressive early traction,” said Haley Medved Kendrick, senior managing director at gener8tor. “Each founder brings deep domain expertise and a clear path to scale.”
Bronze Valley is made possible by partnerships with Innovate Alabama, Alabama Power, Regions, First Horizon, BlueCross BlueShield of Alabama, Spire, Pinnacle Bank and PNC Bank.
Four emerging health care startups make up the seventh cohort at Prosper Healthtech Accelerator. The selected companies will each receive a $90,000 investment and will participate in a 12-week program that includes mentorship, one-on-one coaching and access to gener8tor’s network of members and investors.
The four selected for the seventh cohort are aloeVR, Ashmi Health, CLEO Education and Profunda Health.
AloeVR is a trauma-informed VR experience that helps children build emotional resistance. Ashmi Health delivers personalized nutrition guidance for hormonal health. CLEO Education is an online platform for health care students to practice diagnostic skills. Profunda Health addresses the effects of adverse childhood experiences through a precision care platform.
“What makes this cohort particularly exciting is their strategic positioning at the intersection of technology and impact,” said J.W. Carpenter, president of Prosper. “Each of these companies is creating solutions that will thrive in healthcare’s new economic reality and also solve problems experienced by so many Alabamians.”
Prosper is made possible with support from Encompass, Coca-Cola Bottling Company United, First Horizon, BlueCross BlueShield of Alabama, and UAB Medicine.
