Birmingham-based Motion has signed an agreement to acquire International Conveyor and Rubber.
Motion is a distributor of maintenance, repair and operation replacement parts, as well as a provider of industrial technology solutions. ICR, based in Pennsylvania, has seven locations offering sales, installation and repair of conveyor belts and related system products.
ICR serves a number of industries, including mining and aggregates, power generation, oil and gas, construction, and recycling and marine terminals.
“It’s a perfect match,” said Kory Krinock, one of ICR’s owner-operators. “Both companies are dedicated to their customers and share the same core values. We look forward to enhancing our services and customer value proposition while contributing to Motion’s growth.”
The sale is expected to close at the end of December.
