Marcie Braswell has been chosen to lead a new team of philanthropic advisers at Regions Bank. Regions recently launched the Philanthropic Solutions group, a group within the Wealth Management Division, to help clients with asset management, mission and charitable giving priorities.
The group will serve high-net-worth individuals, families, private foundations, public charities and nonprofit organizations and will work alongside other Regions wealth and trust advisers and relationship consultants within the Wealth Management Division.
Braswell previously led the Endowments & Foundation team within Regions Institutional Services for nearly a decade. In her new role, she will guide the expanded group of advisers to provide subject-matter advice, thought leadership, investment, administrative solutions and more.
“The work of nonprofit organizations, charitable foundations and the individuals, families and companies who support them never stops,” said Braswell. “They continually pour into missions that make our communities strong. Through our Philanthropic Solutions group, we can deliver more customized advice and guidance to clients in ways that impact people and communities for generations.”
Prior to joining Regions, Braswell practiced law for 16 years as an associate and then shareholder with Maynard Cooper & Gale, now Maynard Nexsen. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and a Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University School of Law.
Headquartered in Birmingham, Regions Financial Corp., parent of Regions Bank, has $152 billion in assets and is a full-service provider of consumer and commercial banking, wealth management and mortgage products and services.
