Made in Alabama Showcase kicks off this morning

Governor Kay Ivey is kicking off the Made in Alabama Showcase this morning at the Alabama State Capitol beginning at 10 a.m.

The Made in Alabama Showcase highlights Alabama-made products manufactured in the state. This year, 14 businesses were invited to exhibit their products at the Capitol.

The public is invited to look over products from the following companies: Frios Gourmet Pops, Shaw Industries, To Your Health Sprouted Flour Co., Victory Game Clocks, WoodHaven Custom Calls, Red Land Cotton, Golden Eagle Syrup, Jack Daniel Cooperage, Specification Rubber Products, Central City Urban Farm and Hartzell Engine Technologies. Also invited but unable to attend were Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama, Evonik and Prystup Packaging Products.

The showcase will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the first floor of the Capitol building at 600 Dexter Ave. in Montgomery.
