Mac Caddell, who joined Montgomery-based Caddell Construction as a teenager, has been named president and chief operating officer of the company.
Eddie Stewart, president and CEO since 2012, will remain as chairman and CEO.
“I have watched the growth and maturity of so many leaders at Caddell, and none has been more special than Mac,” Stewart said. “I truly believe he has a vision for the future of this company that will serve us well for many years to come.”
Caddell has a degree in operations management from Auburn University and serves on numerous national committees and task forces. He was an inaugural recipient of the Associated General Contractors’ 40 Under 40 award and serves on the Alabama AGC board.
Caddell has been with Caddell Construction for 25 years, and he’s held numerous positions both in the field and at the home office.
