Hy-Vee, a grocery store chain based in Iowa, plans to open its first Alabama store in Huntsville in 2023. The store is among seven the chain plans to open in Indiana, Tennessee, Alabama and Kentucky. – Des Moines Register

 

Regions agrees to acquire Clearsight Advisors

Regions Financial Corp., the parent company of Regions Bank, has agreed to acquire Clearsight Advisors, a mergers and acquisitions firm serving the technology, professional services, data and information services, and digital and tech-enabled services industries. Bridgeforth chosen for Aspen Institute

Melanie Bridgeforth, president and CEO of the Women’s Foundation of Alabama, is one of 18 people selected as an Aspen Institute Ascend Fellow. Bridgeforth and the other fellows in her cohort will meet quarterly over 18 months as they work to implement change.  – Yellowhammer

 

AIDB, CACC team up for training

The Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind and Central Alabama Community College are teaming up for the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council dual enrollment program. Cost for transportation, interpreters and accessible materials for the program, which begins Jan. 10, will be provided by AIDB.  – The Outlook
