Innovate Alabama awards $9.3 million for boosting innovation

More than 50 groups in 17 counties will share in $9.3 million allocated by Innovate Alabama to boost local innovation. Recipients include 30 nonprofits, 11 municipalities and 10 colleges and universities.  – Alabama Political Reporter

 

Former Mountain Brook church property location of new homesites

Chester Court, a new development near Mountain Brook Village that includes land once the home of Shades Valley Presbyterian Church, is moving forward. Fourteen single-family homes are for sale on the property along Montevallo Road. – Bham Now

Spring Hill, Tuskegee on most beautiful colleges list

Mobile’s Spring Hill College tops Southern Living’s list of most beautiful college campuses in the South, a list that also includes Tuskegee University at No. 11. They were the only two Alabama colleges on the list of 45 schools.  – Bama Buzz
