Huntsville joint venture lands $600 million defense contract

Work will be done on the Missile Defense System

A contract worth more than $600 million has been awarded to nTSI LLC in Huntsville to help support the layered Missile Defense System and help advance future MDS concepts.

nTSI is a joint venture between Modern Technology Solutions Inc. and Nou Systems, according to the website govconwire.com.

Activities involved with the $637.1 million contract will include supporting the government with threat systems engineering; advanced technology; directed energy; hypersonic defense engineering; space systems engineering; U.S.-Israeli Cooperative Program engineering; cybersecurity systems engineering; test analyses and reporting; lethality, hit assessment/kill assessment; and concurrent test, training and operations engineering.

According to the Department of Defense, the work included in the contract will be performed at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, as well as locations in Virginia, Colorado, New Mexico and Israel.

The contract period is from February 2023 to August 2030.
