Dobbins Group, a real estate investment firm, and Capstone Building Corp., a general contractor, have completed Colina WeHo, a $51 million, multi-family community development in Birmingham.
The development, on West Oxmoor Road between Red Mountain Park and Homewood Athletic Complex, spans 350,330 square feet and features 16 buildings with 310 units. Rental options are one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans, as well as carriage apartment homes, that feature granite countertops, nine-foot ceilings, stainless steel appliances and more.
“We’re proud to deliver a thoughtful residential community that fits well in an area experiencing tremendous amounts of renewal and growth,” said Bill Dobbins, principal of Dobbins Group.
The community also includes a pickleball court, indoor and outdoor fitness center, pet park and spa, electric vehicle charging stations, multiple fire pits and more.
In addition to Dobbins Group and Capstone Building Corp., Williams Blackstock Architects served as architect on the development with LBYD serving as civil engineer and Lorberbaum McNair & Associates serving as landscape architect. Bullock Environmental served as the environmental consultant on the project.
