Crowne’s expanded memory care unit opens this month

The expansion doubles the number of semi-private rooms

Crowne Health Care’s Greenville facility plans to open its expanded space by the end of April.

The expansion increases capacity from 10 semi-private rooms to 20, allowing Crowne Health Care to care for twice as many patients. The expansion also creates more recreational areas.

The 1,300-square-foot expansion will include a large outdoor courtyard with a patio. Indoors, residents will have a larger recreational area for dining and activities.

“Not only will our expanded unit give us more space to care for more patients with memory care issues, we will also be able to provide new and additional activities for those patients, which is so beneficial,” said Crystal McInvale, administrator of Crowne Health Care Greenville.

Construction on the expansion started in November 2022.
