California-based Carbon Health is opening a new clinic in Mobile, first to provide rapid COVID tests and antibody testing, later to transition into an urgent care site.
The clinic, at 2370 Hillcrest Road, is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.
As Alabama COVID cases have far surpassed 300,000, “ensuring access to urgent care and testing remains crucial,” the firm said in announcing the new facility.
Patients can book urgent care or virus testing appointments without a referral, then check test results through the Carbon Health app. The health care firm also offers pop-up sites, telehealth and on-site care through various employers.
