County gives $15 million toward Mobile airport project

A $15 million commitment from the Mobile County Commission means the downtown airport project is 80% funded even before construction has begun. The money will go mostly toward roadwork near the terminal.  – AL.com

 

Southeast Restaurant Group buys 24 Alabama Wendy’s

Louisiana-based Southeast Restaurant Group has acquired 24 Wendy’s in Birmingham and Montgomery, expanding the group’s portfolio that already includes 63 restaurants in the Southeast. – QSR Magazine

 

Hoar opens third Texas office in McKinney

Birmingham-based Hoar Construction is opening a third Texas office, this one in McKinney. Hoar already had offices in Houston and Austin. This is the contruction firm’s eighth office nationwide. – Community Impact Newspaper
