BAE Systems receives $754 million Army contract

BAE Systems has received a $754 million contract to continue producing armored multi-purpose vehicles for the U.S. Army. The vehicles will be built at a number of locations, including BAE’s facility in Anniston. â€“ PR Newswire

New coastal ADEM office has ribbon-cutting

The Alabama Department of Environmental Management held a ribbon-cutting for its new field office in Mobile. The 15,000-square-foot facility will bring about 30 ADEM staffers, who are currently in two buildings, under one roof. – Fox 10
