Clover Medicare Advantage plans will be available in Alabama for the first time during the Annual Election Period from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7. Clover’s plans will be offered in seven counties in Alabama, and coverage will begin in January 2022. – Street Insider

A book by HealthSouth founder Richard Scrushy will be released Tuesday by Montgomery’s NewSouth Books. “It Should Not Happen in America: A Journey of Fire and Faith” will chronicle Scrushy’s founding of HealthSouth and, ultimately, his conviction on federal charges and his life after prison. – NewSouth Books
Bid-process seminar held for Montgomery water park
Jesco Inc., construction manager at risk for the new Montgomery white water park, held a seminar about the bid process for small and minority contractors who might be interested. The hope is to get more of those contractors involved with the large project. Land is currently being cleared for the water park. – Alabama News Network
