Capstone Building Corp. has opened its second location in Alabama in Huntsville. The Birmingham-headquartered general contractor plans to use the new location to help service its growing portfolio of clients in northern Alabama.

The 2,500-square-foot space will include five offices and a conference room, which will house all Huntsville-based team members and provide new private areas for senior project managers and estimators. The enhanced space consists of a new lobby, break room and glass throughout the suite to bring in natural light.

“With exponential growth in this area and our upcoming and potential projects, we felt the time was right to accommodate our company’s growth,” said Jay Chapman, president and CEO of Capstone Building Corp.

Capstone Building has been in operation for 25 years and has more than $2.2 billion of completed and in-progress work across 22 states. It plans to continue serving a comprehensive range of multi-family clients, from public to private development to luxury dwellings and senior living facilities to government housing entities.

“With the opening of the Huntsville office, we will have a hands-on approach to planning the pathways to success on our partners’ developments,” said Brandon Loyd, vice president of project management at Capstone Building.
