Capstone Building Corp. breaks ground on West Point Village

The $13.45 million housing project has 72 garden-style units

Capstone Building Corp. has broken ground on a $13.45 million garden-style housing project in West Point, Georgia, with developer Pennrose LLC and architect Kitchen & Associates.

West Point Village will have 72 units in six different styles ranging from one to three bedrooms. In addition to the units, the development will have a community garden, clubhouse, meeting space, exercise facility, off-street parking and on-site management.

Construction is expected to be complete in July 2023.

Birmingham-based Capstone Building Corp. has been in operation since 1997, completing 119 projects in 22 states so far.

Capstone Building also has another project underway with Pennrose LLC, McAuley Station, a $35.4 million residential project in the Sweet Auburn district of Atlanta, Georgia.
