Birmingham-based Capstone Building Corp. has completed the $18.49 million Haven at South Atlanta.
The project, located 10 minutes from downtown Atlanta, covers 96,000 square feet with five buildings housing 84 units. It features one, two and three-bedroom apartments, along with a clubhouse, fitness room and computer room.
“This mixed-income community will provide much-needed, affordable, multifamily housing to a community that is minutes from downtown Atlanta and numerous other job centers and amenities,” said Joe May, vice president of project management at Capstone.
The developer of the project is Pennrose LLC. Started in 1971, Pennrose is a real estate development and multifamily property management company, with offices in Atlanta, Georgia; Garland, Texas; Cincinnati, Ohio; Baltimore, Maryland; Brooklyn, New York; Boston, Massachusetts; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Capstone Building Corp. has completed 119 projects in 22 states since its start in 1997. The company’s projects, to date, are valued at more than $2 billion.
