UAB Callahan Eye Hospital is opening an additional location in Trussville, with eye care available there beginning on Jan. 19.
The new site is at 1960 Gadsden Parkway, near Pinnacle at Tutwiler Farm.
Routine and specialty eye care for children and adults will be offered at the new location, which includes new diagnostic imaging capabilities. It also includes an optical store.
“We are excited to be part of the Trussville community,” said Rett Grover, UAB Callahan Eye Hospital and Clinics chief executive officer. “With this new clinic, our ophthalmologists and optometrists will be able to deliver the best care in a convenient location while they build relationships and provide exceptional patient experiences for those living in or near the city of Trussville.”
The 5,200-square-foot clinic will provide family eye care, cataract evaluations, glaucoma screening, dry eye evaluation and treatment and contact lens evaluations.
