The University of Alabama’s Angelo Bruno Business Library has closed until the fall of 2022 for updates and improvements. The improvements will include new carpet, paint, lighting and furniture. A gender-neutral restroom and nursing mother’s room will also be added.  – The Crimson White

 

Conecuh Sausage facing shortages

Alabama’s beloved Conecuh Sausage is in short supply, because of supply chain issues and depleted labor force. The Evergreen sausage-maker says the meat and spices used to make the product are in short supply.  – ABC 33/40

Austal awarded ship design contract

Mobile-based shipbuilder Austal USA has been awarded a $2 million contract to prepare design studies for the Navy’s Next Generation Logistics Ship. Austal will be prime contractor, leading development of a new baseline design and performance of trade studies. — Austal Limited

 

Birmingham company sells Florida office building

Birmingham’s Graham 10255 Fortune LLC, affiliated with Graham & Company, has sold Gran Park at the Avenues in Jacksonville, Florida, for $11.8 million. The company says that over three years, it boosted occupancy from 33% to 100%.  – Jacksonville Daily Record
