The Crestwood Festival Centre, a shopping center anchored by movie theaters, has sold for just over $7 million. Baltimore-based CityWide Properties bought the center, 300,000 square feet of retail space and 44 retail suites.   – Bham Now

 

Fishing company building headquarters in Huntsville

Kayak Bass Fishing plans to build its headquarters in Huntsville. The sport, in which children and adults catch, photograph and release bass from kayaks, is growing, Mayor Tommy Battle said. The headquarters will be built at Ditto Landing.  – News 19

Pine Level site of new business park

Ground has been broken for a business park in the Autauga County community of Pine Level. The 12-acre business park features 15 new lots for commercial and retail development. – Elmore Autauga News

 

Daphne businesses wary of new development

Two Daphne businesses are concerned about a new development in Jubilee Courtyard in downtown Daphne. The owners of Downtown Cigars and Kitchen on Main say the new development, a two-story building, will dwarf their one-story establishments and that construction will be problematic. – Fox 10
