Birmingham Fastener has acquired Pacific Coast Bolt Corp., based in Santa Fe Springs, California. With more than 80 years of combined fastener production, the acquisition strengthens the company’s manufacturing diversity and expands its U.S. presence from coast-to-coast.

Pacific Coast Bolt manufactures and distributes a wide range of products to water, wastewater, chemical, refining and construction industries.

“This strategic initiative further complements Birmingham Fastener’s made-in-America value proposition to our customers, as Pacific Coast Bolt brings a wealth of manufacturing equipment and overall fastener knowledge,” said Brad Tinney, president and CEO of Birmingham Fastener.

Birmingham Fastener was founded in 1980 by Howard Tinney and is a domestic manufacturer and distributor of fasteners for structural steel fabrication, metal building manufacturers, water works, OEM and MRO. The company has been steadily expanding since 2015, both organically and most recently through acquisitions. In 2020, the company acquired Atlanta Rod and Manufacturing, followed by Steel City Bolt and Screw in 2021, KT Bolt Manufacturing and Champion Manufacturing in 2022 and now Pacific Coast Bolt Corp.
