“Upstream patients, partners and team members will benefit from Anthony’s clinical background and extensive health care leadership experience as he guides us forward, ensures we continue to deliver best-in-class care, supports our clinic teams and capitalizes on growth opportunities,” said Dave Van Name, Upstream founder and senior adviser to the board of directors. “Upstream has a 20-year history of thoughtfully expanding the delivery of effective, clinically superior physical and occupational therapy services across the industry, and Anthony is the ideal leader to carry that legacy forward.”
Upstream operates more than 1,200 outpatient rehabilitation clinics with more than 8,000 employees in 28 states.
“Anthony’s background spans in-home health care, specialty care, pharmacy, palliative care, senior living and hospice services,” said Van Name. “His cross-functional management experience is a perfect fit for our clinically driven culture and operational structure. His dynamic background will also bolster our agility and responsiveness amidst an evolving industry landscape.”
Prior to joining Upstream, Mollica was CEO at Paragon Healthcare and president of hospice and palliative care at Amedisys Inc.
