Workers at an Amazon fulfillment center will vote again in February on whether to unionize. The mail-in vote will begin Feb. 4, with counting set to begin March 28. An initial vote against unionizing led to the National Labor Relations Board finding that Amazon violated labor law during the vote. – The Wall Street Journal

 

Mobile company buys Mississippi lumber mill

Mobile-based Cooper Marine & Timberlands has purchased Seago Lumber Co., which is in McComb, Mississippi. Seago produces 1-inch dressed boards for domestic and export markets. — Enterprise-Journal
