Birmingham can now have 15 entertainment districts
In advance of the World Games, the state legislature has voted to expand the number of entertainment districts a large city like Birmingham can have. That number is now 15, up from five. In a designated entertainment district, patrons can take alcohol off-premises during certain hours. – Bham Now

United Bancorporation of Alabama has announced a new stock repurchase program of up to 188,298 shares, which is 5% of the current outstanding shares of its common stock. This plan replaces the program that expired in November. – Nasdaq
