American Airlines is resuming nonstop flights from Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport to Philadelphia International Airport. The airline will use a CRJ-700 outfitted with 65 seats in a two-cabin configuration for the reinstated nonstop service.
“We are grateful for our partnership with American Airlines and we’re thankful that our customers can enjoy safe and efficient nonstop service between Birmingham and Philadelphia,” said Ronald Mathieu, Birmingham Airport Authority president and CEO .
American will operate the nonstop flight four times a week this month and will begin daily nonstop service in May. American currently offers nonstop flights from Birmingham to Chicago, Dallas, Miami and Washington.
