Turnout for Amazon union vote lower than first
Fewer Amazon workers returned ballots for a second union vote at the Bessemer fulfillment center than did for the first vote that was thrown out. Last year, the turnout was about 55%, with 3,215 of 5,867 ballots returned. The second vote, with tallying set to begin now, saw 2,375 of 6,143 ballots, or about 39%, returned. – AL.com
Online job ads in Alabama in February 2022 were up 48% from February 2021, according to numbers from the Alabama Department of Labor.
