Prattville Baptist Hospital
Prattville Baptist Hospital is an acute-care, community hospital serving patients both in Autauga and Elmore counties.
Prattville Baptist is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The hospital offers a host of services, from 24-hour emergency room care, outpatient surgical care and cardiopulmonary services to dialysis, radiology and geriatric behavioral health.
The hospital also operates a sleep disorder clinic for patients suffering from sleep apnea and other related disorders.
In 2025, Prattville Baptist Hospital achieved a KultureCity Sensory Inclusive certification. KultureCity is a nonprofit organization that teaches organizations how to create sensory inclusive environments, and the certification is for any organization seeking to serve and provide resources for individuals with sensory processing needs.
Also in 2025, Prattville Baptist Hospital won a Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence award. The award honors hospitals around the country that have the lowest incidents of 14 patient safety events. It is the second year in a row that Healthgrades listed Prattville Baptist for this honor.
The hospital also won the Best Hospitals Women’s Choice Award for Outpatient Experience in 2023.
Community Hospital Tallassee
Community Hospital Tallassee is a not-for-profit, acute care hospital with a 24-hour emergency room and intensive care unit. Hospital services include surgical services; cardiopulmonary; radiology; skilled care and rehabilitation; occupational, physical and speech therapy; hospice care; home care; and senior care.
The home care service for adults recovering from serious illnesses or injuries provides nursing and personal care as well as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and other services, all directed by the physician.
The hospital also offers New Day Senior Care for adults age 55 and over with a psychiatric diagnosis and in need of behavioral health services.
Elmore Community Hospital
Elmore Community Hospital in Wetumpka is part of the Ivy Creek Healthcare system. The hospital offers surgical services, radiology and emergency care and respite care.
In addition, Ivy Creek operates a number of clinics and health services in Elmore County. They include several pediatric clinics, a chemical detox clinic, Wetumpka Urgent Care, River Oak Family Medicine, Ivy Creek Medical Associates and Ivy Creek Palliative Care in Wetumpka; Ivy Creek Hospice Elmore; Ivy Creek Home Health of Elmore; and Ivy Creek Family Care of Wetumpka, Millbrook and Tallassee.
