Mobile law firm merges with Florida firm

Barron & Redding will become part of Hand Arendall Harrison Sale

Hand Arendall Harrison Sale LLC, headquartered in Mobile, is merging with Barron & Redding P.A., a Florida-based law firm specializing in commercial litigation and transactions. Barron & Redding will operate under the Hand Arendall name.

“With our strategic planning to add experienced attorneys to our firm, we wanted to add attorneys with a depth of experience in business and complex cases that would complement our strengths,” said Hand Arendall Harrison Sale Managing Lawyer Roger Bates. “Barron & Redding brings that to our firm.”

The integrated firm will provide services across a broader geographical area.

“As Northwest Florida continues to be an area of accelerated business growth and increasing populous, the foresight to collaborate and merge shows our agility to innovate in today’s growing and complex markets,” said Florida Managing Lawyer Kevin Obos. “Senior members in both firms are still working. With Franklin Harrison and Bob Hughes plus Sandy Sanborn still available to our new associates, we have a strong foundation for continuing mentoring and expansion.”

Sanborn, senior attorney with Barron & Redding, added, “For decades, we’ve been deeply rooted in this business community, advising generations of entrepreneurs and organizations. This strategic expansion allows us to preserve that legacy while gaining broader resources and capabilities to better serve our clients as their needs continue to grow.”
