CFM plans $7 million facility in Heflin

New venture expected to create 20-30 jobs

Contour Fabrications and Mechanical is planning a $7 million facility in Heflin that is expected to create 20 to 30 jobs.

CFM is a provider of mechanical maintenance and reel refurbishment services, and the new facility is expected to enhance CFM’s ability to serve clients such as Southwire.

“Alabama’s rural communities are playing a vital role in driving our state’s economic future, and CFM’s decision to locate in Cleburne County is proof of that progress,” Gov. Kay Ivey said. “With this investment and the jobs it brings, we’re seeing firsthand the positive results of strong partnerships and strategic development tools like the Growing Alabama program. I’m proud to welcome CFM to Heflin and excited for what’s ahead for this community.”

CFM is based in Lewisport, Kentucky, and the Heflin facility is designed to expand the company’s capabilities throughout the Southeast. The new facility will be located along U.S. Highway 78.
