Workers from the Honda Auto Alabama Plant have supported their hometown Lincoln Food Pantry for years through food drives, financial contributions and volunteer hours.
And after fire struck the community organization June 11, Honda stepped up with a $25,000 donation to help with recovery and rebuilding.
“We are honestly blown away by this $25,000 contribution from Honda,” said Brandon Tate, director of the Lincoln Food Pantry. “After the fire, we were trying to figure out how to piece things back together, and this donation is exactly the miracle we needed to get our equipment replaced and our pantry back up and running. Honda has always been a great neighbor, but this really shows how much they care about the people here in Lincoln. We’re so grateful to have them in our corner as we get back on our feet.”

We are proud to support the pantry as it rebuilds and continues its vital mission of serving families in need.”
