ULA rocket on its way to Jupiter’s asteroids

NASA’s Lucy mission, featuring a rocket built by United Launch Alliance in Decatur, launched Saturday morning from Cape Canaveral. Over the next 12 years, Lucy will fly by one main-belt asteroid and seven Trojan asteroids of Jupiter. Lucy will investigate the asteroids up close. — NASA

Navy christens another Austal ship

The U.S. Navy christened its 16th independence littoral combat ship, the future USS Santa Barbara, in Mobile. Austal USA is the prime contractor for the Independence class. —  Naval Technology

 

Apartments, condos sell on coast

Cahill Place Midtown apartments, a four-story building with 16 apartments in Mobile, have been sold for $1.625 million. In addition, an investor purchased two commercial condominium units for just over $1 million at Orange Beach’s SanRoc Cay.
