Southeastern Grocers is rebranding as the Winn-Dixie Co., and the grocer will focus on its home state of Florida while closing stores in several states, including Alabama. Capstone Building begins construction of senior living community in Mountain Brook
Birmingham-based Capstone Building Corp. has begun construction on a luxury senior living community in Mountain Brook. The facility, scheduled to be completed by October 2027, will include 162 apartment for independent living, assisted living and memory care. – Village Living
UA System launches national search for UAH president

AmFirst donates $160,000 to nonprofits
