Sloss documentary premieres tonight

A new film about Col. James Withers Sloss, his family and how they helped build Birmingham will premiere tonight on Alabama Public Television. “Building Birmingham: The Sloss Story,” from Jax State’s Longleaf Studios, traces the Sloss impact, including creating Sloss Furnaces and current projects in the city.
