Wes Whitener has joined Luckie as vice president and group creative director. Whitener will oversee creative for the agency’s consumer brand business unit, which encompasses consumer packaged goods, retail and travel and tourism clients.
He will also serve as a director with Luckie Underground, the firm’s eight-member in-house production team, shooting commercials and video content for clients.
Whitener previously worked as director of State Line Films Production Co., following eight years as executive creative director with Fitzco. He has more than 15 years of agency experience. Whitener’s work with multiple brands has earned him recognition from Cannes, One Show, D&AD, Clios, Art Director’s Club, Webby’s, New York Festivals, Communication Arts, Effies and London International Awards. He is a part-time instructor for The Creative Circus.
