Ronnie Pruitt will succeed Tom Hill

Ronnie Pruitt will become CEO of Vulcan Materials effective Jan. 1, 2026.

Ronnie Pruitt, COO of Vulcan Materials Co., will become CEO of the Birmingham-based construction aggregates giant effective Jan. 1, 2026.

He will succeed Tom Hill, who will become executive chairman of the board.

Pruitt, 55, has more than three decades’ experience in the building materials industry.
