The Mountain Brook City Council voted Monday to join the city of Tuscaloosa in a lawsuit challenging Alabama’s distribution of online sales tax revenue. Currently, part of the allocation of revenue is based on cities’ and counties’ population, not where the purchase originated. – Alabama Political Reporter
