The Montgomery Public School board voted this week to hire Mobile’s Volkert Inc. to oversee its $150 million capital improvement project. Volkert will conduct a facilities study and a demographics study and then lead construction through the completion of the project.  – Montgomery Advertiser

Rosilyn Houston, who as head of talent and culture at BBVA USA, based in Birmingham, was named five consecutive years to American Banker’s Top 25 Most Power Women in Banking list, is leaving. She will be the chief human resources officer for Santander Holding USA in Boston.  – AL.com
